Common Reasons the Bot "Refused to Connect"

If you encounter a “<bot handle> refused to connect” error when trying to load the bot, it is very likely you have not added the site’s domain to the approved domains list for your bot.

To add an approved domain if it is missing, please follow the steps below:

1. Login to your bot’s dashboard

2. Go to Settings > Bot Setup > Approved Domains

3. If you do not see the domain of the site you are embedding the bot on, simply add it by clicking “Add Domain”
