Customizing your bot’s chat button will help you ensure that your bot is easy to access and fits with your branding guidelines. Keep in mind that the chat button should be a visually familiar icon that’s easy to find.
You’ll need the latest version of the Embed Script in order to brand your chat button.
1. Navigate to chat button settings
To customize your chat button, go to Settings>Integrations and click on the “Configure” button in the Ada Web Chatbox. Pick “Chat Button” on the left side of the new window. Here you’ll see all the branding options related for your chat button.
2. Choose what your button icon will look like
The default icon option is a question mark—if you choose to keep the default option, you can still customize the background colour of the question mark icon. To do so, just type in the hex code of your brand colour.
If you prefer to use a custom icon click the button next to custom, then click the grey X to generate the upload button. Click the upload button, then select your SVG file. You can also choose a custom background colour with this option.
3. Select a button size
You can choose from:
- Recommended (44 x 44 Pixels)
- Large (56 x 56 Pixels)
- Extra Large (72 x 72 Pixels)
The changes you make will be reflected in the bottom right. Click Save to implement your changes.
